Say hello to the Momento Zero Dragon Heart, a Year of the Dragon @leonardo_pens x @thesnowystudio Exclusive collaboration with material by Jonathon Brooks @carolinapencompany.

Lunar New Year is a very important celebration in our family. As this year is the Year of the Dragon, when I first saw this gorgeous material, I immediately thought that this would be the perfect material for a Year of the Dragon pen. In Chinese culture, dragons symbolize good luck, strength, and power, while the color red and gold symbolize joy, good fortune, and prosperity.  

That said, I want my pen to be more than a Year of the Dragon pen. I reflected on my life-changing journey since I started sharing my joy and passion of writing/fountain pen/journaling here and finding the amazing community behind it. To say that the last five years have been magical is an understatement. I have been very fortunate but the journey has not been without challenges. I often reminded myself, quoting C.S. Lewis: “Courage, dear heart…”.

I decided to name this Year of the Dragon pen “Dragon Heart”. ❤️🐉 

In addition to being a celebration of the auspicious Year of the Dragon, I hope this pen can be the pen that inspires you, the one that reminds you from time to time to be courageous in all your endeavors. Take those chances – some opportunities only come once. Live your dream, share your passion. Never give up.
